Accordionist Zydeco Joe was born Joe Mouton in the small community of Carencro, Louisiana, learning Creole French as his first language. Joe joins Nick at KRVS-FM in Lafayette to reminisce about learning zydeco and play a live, in-studio set. Performing until the end, Zydeco Joe passed away of pneumonia in November, 2007.
